The catch is a loud heart row on a quiet play count
People who open the video see both numbers in one glance. They have a rough sense of how many hearts sit under a given badge. Push likes far ahead of plays and the clip reads as stuffed. Push plays far ahead of likes and the clip reads as traffic that did not care — that mismatch belongs on the views page. This table is only the first problem.
| Plays already on the clip | Hearts that still look like a first hour | What a much fatter row reads as |
|---|---|---|
| Under 500 | 20 – 80 | A sticker on a video nobody opened |
| 1,000 – 4,000 | 80 – 250 | A launch that skipped the player |
| 8,000 – 20,000 | 250 – 800 | A row that no longer matches the badge |
| 50,000+ | 1,000 – 4,000 | A heart count you cannot explain next to the plays |
